This year is absolutely loaded with comic book movies, from The Dark Knight Rises to The Avengers, from The Amazing Spider-Man to Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. But while we've seen trailers for all four of those titles, there is one graphic novel-based film that we have yet to see anything from: Pete Travis' Dredd. Sure, we've seen a couple of stills and the movie isn't coming out until September, it's still surprising how little is actually out there. While today we still don't have anything substantial to show you, Storyboard artist Frederick Mpuuga has posted some of his work from the film (featuring the title character sitting on his bike, known as the Lawmaster) on his official page (via Bleeding Cool).

Scope it out below and see it full size over at the source.

Based on a script by Alex Garland and the character by Carlos Ezquerra, Dredd stars Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby, and Lena Headey. The story involves Dredd (Urban) teaming up with a new recruit (Thirlby) to take down a gang that has been peddling a dangerous drug called SLO-MO. The movie is due out on September 21, and for more info you can head over to our Blend Film Database.
