Extended Green Lantern TV Spot Shows Off More Of The Film's Main Villain

When the first trailer for Green Lantern premiered last year, I was disappointed. After months of great buzz the film was looking shoddy and unworthy of the hero being portrayed. Then came this year's WonderCon and nine minutes of incredible footage that not only restored my faith in the project, but also a lot of other people's. In the weeks since we've been seeing more and more promotional material from the DC Comics property - making up for the months of radio silence - and that continues today.

Coming Soon has found a new extended TV spot for Green Lantern that is practically a trailer by itself, clocking in at three times the length of a normal commercial. Played on NBC during the 100th episode of 30 Rock, a lot of the footage is stuff we've already seen, there is some new stuff as well, including clearer looks at the film's main villain: Parallax, a physical manifestation of fear.
