Go Behind The Scenes With Two New Captain America Featurettes

While there are those that blame fading interest in the genre while others believe that the problems lie in marketing, Superhero Summer 2011 hasn't exactly resulted in an economic boom for the movie industry. Between Thor, X-Men: First Class and Green Lantern, only the first managed to bring in more than $60 million in it's first weekend. Still, the summer isn't over yet as we still have one more superpowered individual to swoop in and save the day: Captain America.

EPIX has posted two new behind-the-scenes featurettes for the upcoming Joe Johnston-directed Marvel movie, and you can watch them below. The first video has Chris Evans discussing the character of Steve Rogers, who eventually becomes the great hero, while the second focuses on the period film's set design and the Captain America costume. Sadly the videos don't deliver much in the way of new footage, but it's still an interesting look at the upcoming film.

Check out the featurettes below.
