It didn't take long for Daniel Craig to make an impression as James Bond. When Casino Royale arrived in theaters in 2006 it came with tons of critical praise and people saying that the British actor was the best to take on the role since Sean Connery. That reputation hit a bumpy road when Quantum of Solace came out in 2008 to less stellar reviews, but now Craig is ready to make his comeback as 007 and the marketing department is so confident in his appeal that they've put him front and center on a new poster with nothing to steal the viewer's attention.
The first domestic one-sheet (this one was an international print) has arrived online via the official James Bond Facebook page and, as I said, there isn't much to this poster other than watching our favorite superspy preparing to fire his gun while diving backwards. You can check out the poster below and if you click on it you can see it in high-res.
Directed by Sam Mendes, the new film finds Bond's loyalty to M (Dame Judi Dench) is tested when a secret from her past comes back to haunt her and at the same time must protect MI6 from a devestating threat. New members of the cast include Javier Bardem, as villain Raoul Silva, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Helen McCrory, Ben Whishaw, Berenice Marlohe, Albert Finney and Ola Rapace. Skyfall will be in theaters on November 9th and you can see more from the movie, including trailers, behind the scenes footage, stills and posters, in our Blend Film Database.
