James Bond is used to being on the wrong side of a firearm. Hell, just about every movie in the franchise has featured the iconic gun barrel sequence where we 007 walks into the screen from the right side, turns, shoots, and kills his would-be assassin. But normally when people are aiming and shooting in his direction it's an enemy who wants him dead. Such is not the case in this new clip from Sam Mendes' Skyfall.

Delivered by Yahoo!, the newly revealed scene has Bond (Daniel Craig) doing battle with an enemy on top of a train, while also being in the gun sight of a weapon held by MI6 agent Eve (Naomi Harris). Watch the clip below to see how it all unfolds.

Thanks to the trailers we know that this is actually from the beginning of the movie and not the sad of 007, but could you imagine if the franchise just ended with Bond being shot and plummeting to his death? Let's all pray that never happens and that the Bond series just goes on forever and ever.

Due out on November 9th, Skyfall sees the trust between Bond and M (Dame Judi Dench) break when a dark secret from her past comes back to haunt her, Meanwhile, the super spy must contend with an evil villain named Raoul Silva (Javier Bardem). The supporting cast also includes Berenice Marlohe, Ben Whishaw, Ralph Fiennes, Helen McCroy and Albert Finney. Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan wrote the screenplay for the film.
