I know it's been so many years since Mark Wahlberg headlined 'Marky Mark and The Funky Bunch', but it's just too fun of a jab to ever pass up. Kind of makes me want to start boogieing down to "Good Vibrations" at my cubicle, but I'll resist the urge. Just this once.

According to MTV News (sometimes they do actually hear it first), Wahlberg will star in the follow-up to the 2003 heist movie The Italian Job, titled The Brazilian Job. It's been in the works for a while now, but writer David Twohy (Pitch Black) just finalized the last details of the script.

"A lot of people really liked The Italian Job, and a lot of movie sequels don't live up to the original, so we want to make it as good, or better; and we're all patient," Wahlberg says. The original cast will be back (including Charlize, fresh off the disaster of Aeon Flux), and they may begin filming around next summer.

Don't look for Wahlberg to star in any more movies like Fear. "I don't want to offend any filmmakers, but I've signed on to two movies in my career without seeing the script," confesses Mark. "Now, it's all about the script. I'm only making movies now that I want to see, or that I think that people want to see me in." And if he thinks that camping out in Brazil with gorgeous models is the way to go, then well, who can blame him?
