Scope Out Three Retro Magazine Covers For X-Men: First Class

Up until now, the key behind the marketing for X-Men: First Class has been making sure that absolutely everyone knows that it's a prequel starring Charles Xavier before he became Professor X and Erik Lehnsherr before he became Magneto. But one of the coolest things about the film is that it will be a period piece, set in 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Now they are finally embracing it.

Total Film has posted three new variant covers from the new issue of their magazine, all of which are printed in the style of the 60s and show off Xavier, Lehnsherr and Emma Frost (James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and January Jones, respectively) in various poses. The fact that they are parodying Vogue, Life and Esquire is great, but I think the more important thing here is that Jones looks incredibly hot and Fassbender looks like a badass.

Check out the covers below and for a fourth non-retro cover, head over to Total Film.
