Sylvester Stallone Takes Out The Bad Guys With One Finger In New Expendables 2 Clip

Towards the end of Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor's 2006 action film Crank, Jason Statham's character is stuck on the roof of a building, unarmed, and face-to-face with the man he wants revenge against. Without any other option, he lifts his finger and starts pointing it like a gun. While everyone laughs at first, Statham then points at one of the baddies, "fires," and the guy drops dead. That said, I'm wondering if Statham simply decided to keep his mouth shut while filming this scene from the upcoming The Expendables 2.

A new clip from the action film has been posted over at AICN, and while this time around it's Sylvester Stallone firing the finger gun, the scene plays out almost the exact same way. Check out the new clip as well as a link to the aforementioned scene from Crank embedded below (Oh, and just for kicks I've also included a scene from The Losers, which also uses the exact same gag).

In The Expendables 2, directed by Simon West, the team of expert mercenaries go on a job that should be a walk in the park, but when things go horribly wrong they find one of their crew cut down. Thus begins a mission for revenge as they hunt down the people responsible for the set-up. In addition to Stallone and Statham, the sequel also stars Liam Hemsworth, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Scott Adkins, Jet Li, Chuck Norris, Charisma Carpenter, Dolph Lundgren Terry Crews, Randy Coture, and Nan Yu. The movie will arrive in theaters on August 17th, but until then you can see more from the title in our Blend Film Database.
