Taylor Lautner Could Join The Cast Of Grown Ups 2
It's hard to find worse movies nowadays than the ones being produced by Adam Sandler. While his films from the late 90s were great, the actor has gotten excessively lazy in the last few years, pumping out crap like Grown Ups, Just Go With It, Jack and Jill, and many, many others. So what's the only thing that could make an Adam Sandler movie worse? Adding Taylor Lautner.
According to THR, the Twilight star is now in talks to play a part in Grown Ups 2. A sequel to the 2010 summer hit, the movie has most of its stars already on board including Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Maya Rudolph and Salma Hayek. Dennis Dugan, who also directed the first film, will helm this one. It sounds as though Lautner's role will be small, but the trade describes it as "a key, 'fun' role, in which he goes toe-to-toe with Sandler." Should he sign on this will only be the third film that Lautner has made outside of the Twilight franchise, his last being the John Singleton-directed Abduction. He will next be seen in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II which will arrive in theaters on November 16th.
Taylor Lautner is a terrible actor. I can say that with authority because I've seen Abduction three times now and it gets more hilarious with each viewing (if you haven't seen it already I actually recommend sitting down and watching it with a couple of friends and a few beers). Adding that kind of element to something like Grown Ups 2 sounds like something you'd hear in scripture about the apocalypse.
