This one is for all the ladies who wish they had two by-the-book good-looking dudes fighting over them. And not just two college students, two successful Wall Street big-shots with cool cars and $80 haircuts. Alexis Bledel stars as Beth, whose life in the city is nearly complete except for her lack of a suited up d-bag to grow old with. When she meets Daniel (Scott Porter), it seems like the final piece of the puzzle of life is falling into place for her, but Daniel’s friend Tommy (Bryan Greenberg) swoops in to mess everything up.
The Good Guy looks like your pretty standard love triangle dramedy with no real twists or surprises. The guys are fighting over a girl and by the end she’ll have to decide who is right for her. Pretty straightforward. It looks well filmed, but I personally can’t trust the acting skill of Alexis Bledel to carry a movie.
