New Trailer For The Watch Makes Sure You Know It's An Alien Movie

Back in April Fox announced that they would be changing their marketing strategy for the comedy The Watch (formerly known as Neighborhood Watch). Due to the shooting involving Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman, the studio said that future posters and trailers would focus more on the science-fiction element of the story in the movie. So now the newest trailer for The Watch begin? By explaining that the world is under attack from aliens even before the first footage is shown.

In The Watch Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Richard Ayoade and Jonah Hill star as a group of men who decide that they need some time away from their families. To do so they start a neighborhood watch group, but use the time to drink and play cards. Things get serious, however, when the group discovers that the world is actually under attack by aliens and they have to do everything in their power to stop them. Akiva Schaffer directed the film based on a script by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The movie will be released on July 27th and you can read more about it in our Blend Film Database.
