I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Jason Segel is one of the most likeable From his part in Forgetting Sarah Marshall to How I Met Your Mother, the guy is always charming and charismatic. As you probably expected, this doesn’t change with his role in the Jake Kasdan-directed Bad Teacher. In the film, he plays phys-ed teacher Russell Gettis, an educator who isn’t quite as bad as Cameron Diaz’s Elizabeth Halsey, but also spends a good amount of getting high while lying on gym mats.
On the same day that I got to talk with Kasdan and co-star Lucy Punch, I had the chance to sit down with Jason Segel and talk with him not only about his role in the new comedy, which comes out today, but also about his upcoming projects including The Muppets and Five Year Engagement.
