Voldemort Spookily Narrates Two New Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows TV Spots

The TV spots for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 seem to have settled into a distinct, and very creepy style-- Ralph Fiennes narrates as Voldemort, challenging Harry Potter to face him but pretty much promising him he'll die, while Harry and his friends run around a slowly disintegrating Hogwarts and eventually Harry grabs Voldemort by the shoulders and shouts, "Let's finish this the way we started-- together!" Aside from the fact that this particular moment-- Harry and Voldemort jumping off a cliff locked in a death embrace-- never happened in the book and feels a little odd, the consistent structure of the TV spots is great, and their darkness another reminder that we've come a long, long way from the days of the Sorting Hat's song and the Chamber of Secrets.

Warner Bros. has debuted two more TV spots today, one a hefty minute and a half long and the other running a minute, both of them sprinkling a few new scenes in the structure I've already mentioned. Check them out below, and to catch up on the impressive amount of images, posters and trailers they've already released, visit the Blend Film Database. The movie opens July 15.
