The X Factor's Carly Rose Sonenclar To Guest Star On Law & Order: SVU

Last season, The X Factor finally began to produce contestants that have made their mark. Both Emblem 3 and Fifth Harmony have made their marks on YouTube, and the latter has even lined up a touring gig with judge Demi Lovato. Now, Season 2 runner-up Carly Rose Sonenclar is also finding success, albeit via a different forum. The 14-year-old star recently filmed an episode for NBC’s long-running procedural, Law & Order: SVU,

Mariska Hargitay Is Officially Returning To Law & Order: SVU

It’s a testament to Hargitay that she is willing to stick with a show that has made her a household name for over a decade, and I personally can’t wait to see what she’ll bring to the table in Season 15, which will continue to air on Wednesday nights next year. It’s a good thing that Hargitay is returning—as Season 14 ended on a bit of a cliffhanger. We’ll let you know if NBC announces any SVU changes before next season airs.

Sons Of Anarchy's Theo Rossi Will Guest Star In Law & Order: SVU

After an epic Season 5 finale, the Sons of Anarchy crew has a bit of downtime before production on Season 6 begins. While many people might view that time as break time, Sons actor Theo Rossi is headed to NBC, where he has nabbed a guest starring role on Law & Order: SVU.

Kelli Giddish Will Be Back For Good Wife Premiere

When Kelli Giddish signed to take on a big role as a series regular on SVU for the coming season, The Good Wife’s writing team was left with a storyline dilemma. But it turns out they will at least get the season premiere to settle things – Kelli Giddish will return as Sophia Russo. The in-demand blonde has agreed to come back for at least one episode.

It seems NBC’s gotten all of their ducks in a row as far as the 2010 fall schedule, at least for now (there’s plenty of time for things to get shuffled around). Read on to see what the typical week is going to look like for the Peacock.

Sharon Stone Signs On For SVU

This April, Sharon Stone is set to appear in numerous episodes of NBC’s Law and Order: SVU. The actress, known for some of her racier film roles, including the female lead in Basic Instinct, is set to play a prosecutor in the series this spring.

More Cast Shakeups For SVU

Adam Beach, who just joined the cast of Law & Order: SVU as Detective Chester Lake this year, is leaving when the season ends in May. Beach’s character, an SVU detective in Brooklyn, didn’t replace anyone when he moved to the Manhattan SVU precinct. Since he was an add-on, producers are not expected to recast his role.

television
Diane Neal Rests Her Case On SVU

Neal, who has played A.D.A Casey Novak since 2003 will be making her final appearance on the show during its season finale next month. Novack made her first appearance on SVU in a guest role as a murder suspect and autoerotic axphyxiation-loving, male stripper gang-rapist (seriously).

NBC Posts Their 2008-2009 Primetime Lineup

It’s network upfront season, which means the networks will be unveiling their upcoming primetime lineups. NBC recently released their new schedule for fall 2008 through summer 2009. While it’s a little too early to start setting your DVRs, the schedule looks promising and there are quite a few new series included on the schedule.

Friday Night Lights Saved! And Other News From The NBC Upfronts

NBC had its upfront presentation today, where it unveiled its schedule for next season. In addition to new shows such as The Office spinoff we previously reported on, many fan favorites will be returning next season. Chief among those is Friday Night Lights, the low-rated, but beloved high school football series. FNL will be returning for a 3rd season, but won’t premiere until the winter.

Robin Williams' SVU Case

My guess is that Williams' character turns from victim to vigilante-justice seeker right quick. He’ll probably garner the sympathies of detective Stabler, who, as anybody who has seen a single episode of SVU knows, wants to personally rip out the throats of all of the criminals in the world.
