Maggie Gyllenhaal Gives Birth To A Second Baby Girl

Peter Sarsgaard and Maggie Gyllenhaal have always been amongst the most practical of Hollywood couples. In fact, when she got pregnant for the second time, one of her biggest concerns was remembering to put pretzels in her purse and trying to make sure she could vomit in bathrooms during the first trimester without arousing suspicion. He, on the other hand, spent his time trying to figure out how best to warm up their daughter Ramona to the idea of sharing the spotlight. Thus, it’s really not a surprise such a down to Earth couple would select an elegant and sensible name for their newest addition.

According to The New York Daily News, the couple’s rep has finally verified Gyllenhaal gave birth to a baby girl on April 19th in New York City. The bundle of joy has been christened Gloria Ray, which is an A+ as far as celebrity choices go. Beyond that, almost no details are known, and given the couple’s penchant for staying out of the press, it might be awhile before we hear more.

Pop Blend’s warmest congratulations go out to the happy couple, as well as to Ramona who, as her dad reasoned, will have to adjust to having another child in the house. Luckily for her, by all accounts, both Sarsgaard and Gyllenhaal are doting parents and should have the patience and dedication to give each of the girls all the time they deserve.
