50 Cent Is Being Sued After Sharing Revenge Porn

50 Cent Power

50 Cent might be losing a good chunk of change. The "I Got Money" rapper is reportedly soon set to be sued by Love & Hip Hop star Teairra Mari over what is deemed to be an act of revenge porn. The musician reportedly shared sexually explicit photos and videos of the reality TV star, and Mari is looking for her payday. She vowed to sue the pants off her the famous musician, and yesterday's suit suggests she wasn't bluffing. Teairra Mari wants 50 Cent to know his day in court is coming.

In addition to 50 Cent, Teairra Mari is also suing her ex-boyfriend, Akbar Abdul-Ahad, who reportedly logged into her Instagram account and posted a very explicit video of the reality TV star. Mari believes this act of "revenge porn" is her ex's way of getting back at his previous girlfriend for not wanting to engage in a polyamorous relationship, which is something he has suggested in the past. They broke up earlier this month, and it wasn't long after they called it quits that Abdul-Ahad said his phone was stolen. She knew, in that moment, that it was bad news. Mari believes Abdul-Ahad knew what he was doing, and that he planned to post the X-rated footage videos on the web. Sure enough, it wasn't long before the video leaked.

How does 50 Cent factor into the equation? Well, according to TMZ, the rapper shortly got involved when Teairra Mari quickly deleted her account. According to her suit, the rapper posted a screencap of the photo in black and white, in order to, ahem, see in better detail what was happening in the raunchy sex tape. Since 50 Cent has more than a few followers to his name (try somewhere in the ballpark of 18 million), it wasn't long before word of the video made its way online. Sure enough, 50 Cent played a big influence in the sex tape becoming known to the Internet-viewing public, and Mari believes the "In Da Club" musician is just as guilty as Akbar Abdul-Ahad in his crime. To makes matters worse, Mari believes 50 Cent encouraged his fans to harass her through his lewd caption to the screenshot. As Mari notes in the lawsuit, 50 Cent has a history of posting private tapes on his page. He recently found himself in a lawsuit with Rick Ross's former fling when he posted a similarly crude video. He ended up having to pay a whooping $7 million for that lewd offense.

Teairra Mari's charges towards 50 Cent and Akbar Abdul-Ahad include revenge porn, invasion of privacy and emotional distress. We'll likely be hearing more about this case in the months to come, but it's not looking good for 50 Cent. He might be 25 Cent after this whole endeavor. (Sorry, I couldn't resist the easy joke. I apologize.)
