As Abby Lee Miller revealed on Instagram on Thursday, she recently passed the one-year anniversary of her emergency spinal surgery. There was an infection located in her back, a tumor that turned out to be Burkitt Lymphoma. It was understandably a tough time. Miller claims she had to endure 10 rounds of chemotherapy. And the worse of it isn't quite over yet. Miller needed another spinal surgery after the fact, and the TV star claims another surgery will need to follow.

There's no denying that Abby Lee Miller's struggles are severe in nature; it sounds like she barely made it out with her life. As she later admitted, Miller tried to tell the doctors about the serious of her inflictions, but she claims that they weren't exactly listening to her or taking her health concerns quite as seriously as she was.

I struggled thru months of physical therapy to learn to sit up again, to crawl and maybe with a miracle someday I’ll walk. Why didn’t the ER Doctors on duty do their jobs? I came in twice with the same symptoms? Why didn’t somebody listen to me, the patient? I finally found the right team that’s why I lived to tell my story, I have a lot to say!

Ultimately, it is still a hard road ahead for Abby Lee Miller. But the celebrity dance mom is thankful for the medical experts who are providing her with the proper care.

Thank you to all wonderful top notch professionals who continue to help me heal. For those who missed it, misdiagnosed me, and the so called Federal “Doctor” who took me off medication cold turkey and the other ER “Doctor Hollywood” who told me to go home and take it easy for 10 days - STOP practicing! Please.

As it was reported one year earlier, Abby Lee Miller almost died of a spinal infection. The original report noted that the reality TV celebrity was complaining about back problems for an extended period of time, and she was at the risk of being permanently paralyzed if the operation didn't happen in a quick fashion.
