Jennifer Lawrence’s portrayal of Katniss Everdeen in this month’s The Hunger Games is that of a bold, fit young woman with a variety of survival skills, including building the muscles of an archer. In her everyday life, however, the 21 year-old actress is not one who worries about her body too much. Lawrence recently spoke out to Glamour about her exercise and dieting habits.
"I don't diet. I do exercise! But I don't diet. You can't work when you're hungry, you know?"

Of course, the young actress may change her tune when her youthful body gives way to wrinkles and fat pockets, but for now she is content to only exercise when movie producers tell her it is a good idea.
But it’s nice being in shape for a movie, because they basically do it all for you. It's like, 'Here's your trainer. This is what you can eat.' “

I don’t know what exercise regimen J. Lawr is into, but it obviously doesn’t involve multiple core classes, running, an elliptical, free weights, weight machines and pilates tapes twice a week. I’m pretty sure she’s happier that way, though.
"I hate saying, 'I like exercising.' I want to punch people who say that in the face.”
