The Ninja Turtles are back! While the fate of the movie reboot may be up in the air, the Turtles are back in animated form on Nickelodeon, and judging by some of the gifts my nephew got at his birthday party last weekend, they're back in toy form as well. Those of us who have "ever seen a turtle get down" know that the sewer-dwelling, pizza-eating, shell-wearing, butt-kicking mutant reptiles do know how to dance. But this parody video provides further evidence of it, and throws in a Gangnam Style twist!

Via EW, the video is introduced by none other than Vanilla Ice himself, who Ninja-rapped near the end of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. As evidenced by the intro (and his appearance at the end of the video), Ice is still willing to get down with the Turtles! And he isn't alone. The Turtles dance to Psy's Gangnam Style and some other people get in on the action.

New York City and Nickelodeon are certainly fitting backdrops for these Turtles to stage this amusing dance parody. But for those whose nostalgic itch hasn't quite been scratched (and those with kids who have yet to be exposed to the Turtles), you can find the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series on Saturday mornings at 11/10c on Nickelodeon.
