Rising Hip-Hop Star Freddy E Commits Suicide After Series Of Tweets

The hip-hop community is in a state of shock after losing a promising star. Frederick Eugene Buhl, better known by his handle Freddy E, died on Saturday of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, leaving behind a stream of cryptic tweets, plenty of promise and an unused record contract from mega-star Tyga. An investigation into exactly what happened is ongoing, but regardless of what the findings tell us, there will always be questions and sadness as to why a talented twenty-two-year-old decided to end it.

Exactly what happened on Saturday is still a little unclear, but rumors are flying that a break-up with fellow rapper Honey Cocaine played a role in his decision-making. According to Baller Status, the two were very close. She’s since taken to Twitter to say goodbye and lash out at all of the fans who have been blaming her for Freddy E’s decision, which is understandable since she wasn't even there.

The rapper’s evening began innocently enough with a series of pleasant tweets to fans and friends, but something happened and his mood quickly went south. He tweeted that his day was ruined before busting into a few verses about feeling alone and wanting to end it. Here’s an excerpt

“If there's a God then He's calling me back home. This barrel never felt so good next to my dome. It's cold & I'd rather die than live alone.”

Pop Blend’s sincerest thoughts go out to Freddy E’s family, Honey Cocaine and everyone else touched by his life. By all accounts, he was a funny, good-natured person who made a lot of people smile. He will be missed.
