We Could Be Getting A Porn Movie Shot In Space, Get The Details

For everything you know, there’s a porno. From movies to professions, the porn industry is always there to appropriate. But now, porn is about to go where few humans have gone before. Porn is attempting to go to space--up, up and away!

What’s being called the “Sexploration” of the century hopes to send Eva Lovia and Johnny Sins up into the abyss to make the world’s first sex tape in space. Pornhub.com wants to test the limitlessness of zero-gravity, and hopes that fans are yearning to see such an adult film by creating a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for the trip. The porn distributor is attempting to raise $3.4 million (it costs a lot of money to get into space), and if the funding level is reached in the next 30 days, Pornhub vice president Corey Price is planning for a late 2016 release. He told The Huffington Post:

If all goes well, the schedule will include an entire six months of training for space travel for our crew and performers before we’re comfortable with launching them into space. We need to know all participants are sufficiently prepared for the rigors of space-age coital activity (as well as filming in or past the stratosphere).

The two ‘actors’ enlisted for the project seem pretty excited for the opportunity. Lovia has already already claimed that even just the bragging rights alone will be well worth the trip. Here you can watch the painfully awkward promo video for the Indiegogo campaign.

The plan is to send both Sins and Lovia aboard a shuttle with a six-person film crew. The production will start as the ship takes flight, and they’re off (well not quite yet). The pivotal moment is supposedly going to happen as they reach maximum altitude and experience weightlessness for at least a few minutes, which should be where the finale comes into play. Of course this is all a pipe dream, and the reality of two porn stars being able to be physically ready and able to take on space travel, aside from the fact that they will be having sex while doing so, seems nearly impossible.

Another problem lies in whether a private space travel company would actually agree to rent their shuttle out to be used for a porn production. We can’t even imagine what type of mess will be happening sans gravity. Also, the act itself becomes increasingly difficult. Without gravity there’s no traction, and no friction. Without resistance, there’s no leverage.

We’ll see if the “Sexploration” even comes close to taking off. Right now the Indiegogo campaign has raised about $21K, but that’s only 1% of the necessary funds.
