Subscribe To Check Out Game Of Thrones' Jason Momoa And Emilia Clarke Reuniting Off Set Updates
While Daenerys looks to pursue a romantic family affair of sorts in Game of Thrones Season 8, fans might feel prompted to think back to simpler times, when the mother of dragons was seen as nothing more than a bride sold to a Dothraki warlord. Jokes aside, many fans loved the eventual dynamic Khal Drogo and Daenerys created together, so it comes as no surprise that when Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke reunited outside of a Game of Thrones set, fans were psyched:
In a day's time, Emilia Clarke's Instagram post is rapidly approaching 3 million likes from Game of Thrones fans who seem extremely eager to see Jason Momoa and Clarke together again. Unfortunately, there seems to be very little chance that'll ever happen in the HBO show again, but judging by the two's faces, it surely won't be the last time they hang in person. (Somebody give them a reality show, though, seriously.)
Then again, it's kinda hard not to enjoy the company of a close friend when you're five "gins" deep, which Emilia Clarke claims to be in her caption. That sounds like a night of drinking that would be rough to keep down for gin's non-enthusiasts, but considering she ate that super gross heart in GoT, Clarke's probably cool with it.
It's good to see Emilia Clarke is just as big of a fan as Jason Momoa as he is her. Momoa really went off on a tangent about how awesome his former Game of Thrones co-star is during Season 7 of the series, so seeing Clarke going on an equally similar rave over meeting up with Momoa for drinks really shows that all his gushing this year was genuine. Luckily, Drogo is long dead, or Jon Snow might have some real competition on his hands!
Of course, the real-life love between Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa is wholly platonic, considering Momoa just got married to longtime girlfriend and former Cosby Show actress Lisa Bonet. It would appear that this dinner and drinks was simply all about two old friends meeting up again to relive the past, and get a little tipsy along the way. Maybe Momoa was just trying to get some secrets out of Clarke about how the show ends? Maybe he should share them soon?
He could only be so lucky, as it appears likely the rest of Game of Thrones fans will have to wait until around 2019 before the exciting conclusion to the epic fantasy series. While some actors are upset the long-running series is coming to an end, others like Maisie Williams are psyched to move on with their careers. Some already have, with one actor confirming we won't be seeing much of another cast member in the final leg of the show. Read up on all of that, or take a look at all the other shows coming to television in the next couple of months via our fall premiere guide.
