Exclusive Falling Water Clip Reveals Bill Boerg's Plan For Dreamers

The second season of Falling Water is in full swing on USA, and the episodes so far have taken the characters in some unexpected (and often dangerous) directions. Tess (Lizzie Brocheré), Burton (David Ajala), and Taka (Will Yun Lee) already faced new challenges, and more are in store sooner rather than later. The next episode, called "dröm," will bring Bill Boerg (Zak Orth) back into the mix in an intriguing way. Check out an exclusive clip of Bill revealing a new plan for dreamers to Tess and Burton:

In this clip, we get a good look at Bill Boerg's hidden lair, which is filled with pods. Bill is pitching Tess and Burton on the concept of a "neuro-net" that would allow dreamers to share dreams across great distances. The pods are designed to theoretically amplify the range of a dreamer to the extent that they can connect with anyone, no matter where they're located. These pods are still in development, but Bill Boerg has spent many years and a lot of money focusing on dreamers. If anybody can use technology to globally amplify dreamers' abilities, it would probably be Bill Boerg.

The idea of the neuro-net may seem somewhat far-fetched, but Bill Boerg makes a good case for it, arguing that nobody could have predicted the internet a couple of decades ago. If all goes according to his plans, the neuro-net could be the next internet and utterly revolutionize the way the Falling Water world works. Bill certainly has the resources to explore the concept.

Bill Boerg won't be the only one keeping busy in "dröm." The episode will see Taka attempting to find Shadowman in the real world while Tess and Burton search for a missing dreamer in the dreamworld. Woody will sell out the Mayor. All things considered, we're in for an episode that could well push characters to the limits.

Falling Water is poised to continue building upon the world established back in the first season. New showrunner Remi Aubuchon explained ahead of Season 1 that a goal for Season 2 was to "take what was wonderfully done in the first season and try to spin it a little" and add "a little bit of adrenaline." The exclusive clip of "dröm" indicates that Season 2 will continue to touch on dreamers on a global scale as well as continuing what was most effective last season.

You can catch the next episode of Falling Water on Saturday, January 27 at 10 p.m. ET on USA. Be sure to tune in to discover more of what Bill Boerg has in mind for dreamers, as well as how Tess, Burton, and Taka tackle their latest challenges in and out of the dreamworld.
