Injuries are not the first thing you think of when you think of Carpool Karaoke. But these things happen as pop superstar Ariana Grande can attest. Grande shared on social media that while she was filming Carpool Karaoke with James Corden for The Late Late Show, she sustained an injury to her hand. You can check out Grande's Twitter post with a partial picture of her bandaged hand below:
Yikes! Well, at least she has found the bright side courtesy of her bandage. In fact, Ariana Grande shared that she is so fond of it, she will miss it when her hand heals and she will no longer need to wear it. Talk about taking something in stride. When Grande did Carpool Karaoke: The Series with Seth MacFarlane, she walked away unscathed. It will be interesting learn exactly how she became injured on her latest go-around.
One can theorize that some intense hand gestures while belting out her mega hits could have possibly played a role. Or not. For now, it remains a Carpool Karaoke mystery. Not that her fans have not tried to get to the bottom of it.
As with all things related to Ariana Grande, her followers were understandably curious as to how she sustained her injury filming the popular segment. Grande did not share details on how the incident occurred, but she did tease that her fans will find out with a hint of how it happened. See what she had to say below:
The good news for Ariana Grande and her legions of fans is that the pop star shared that she has "never had more fun," as well as saying that she had "the best day ever" thanks to James Corden and The Late Late Show's crew, band, and writers. Grande also shared her enthusiasm for fans to see her latest installment of Carpool Karaoke, as well as her affection for Corden on her Twitter page.
With how Ariana Grande sustained her injury now shrouded in mystery, fans will have to tune in to Carpool Karaoke to learn the circumstances. At least that is the way it seems for now. So, what do we know about Grande's episode so far? Well, James Corden previously posted a picture of printed out lyrics to Grande's "No Tears Left to Cry" and "God is a Woman."
Based on that, we can tentatively surmise those songs probably made it onto the track list. Of course, it is not definitive. While Ariana Grande has done Carpool Karaoke with Seth MacFarlane, her doing it with James Corden is a whole other ball game.
The Late Late Show with James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. ET on CBS. For new television shows set to arrive this fall, check out CinemaBlend's guide to TV's fall premieres.
