The cast and the crew of Game of Thrones are not the only ones who know how the show ends. As it turns out, Sophie Turner has already shared some major spoilers with some people. Turner revealed this about keeping a lid on spoilers about the final season:
I’m so bad at keeping secrets. I don’t think people tell me things anymore because they know that I can’t keep them. I’ve already told the ending of Game of Thrones to a few people.
That’s right: Game of Thrones’ ending is out to some. To think of all the lengths Game of Thrones went to prevent Season 8 leak! Now, a few souls know how it all ends without seeing the final journey to get to the big conclusion. Many fans, this one included, would not want to be in their shoes. Once you know, you know.
Sophie Turner revealed that she told others about how Game of Thrones ends to W. Turner did not share how they reacted to the ending. That could have given more insight into what fans can expect. So, how did this reveal come to be? When asked if she was intoxicated at the time she spilled the ending, Turner said:
Nope, sober. I was like, ‘Hey, if you want to know, I’ll tell you.’ But it’s people that I know, not random people. It’s people that I know will keep the secret.
From the sound of things, Game of Thrones’ ending secrets are safe. Random people are not in the know, so do not expect anything to leak early. If you are going to spill the ending of one of television’s biggest shows, it is best you share with trustworthy people.
Hearing how Game of Thrones will end is going to be a lot different than seeing it. Nothing could compare to it. There have been a lot of teases from the cast to help stoke fans’ imaginations for what is in store.
Emilia Clarke’s reaction to Daenerys’ final scene remains the most cryptic and ominous tease, to date. Time will tell what it all means.
The premiere is now only a few months away. Elsewhere in her interview, Sophie Turner shared that she was in the dark about when the show would premiere. Meaning the cast is not privy to everything.
The rest of the world will find out how Sansa's journey concludes when Game of Thrones' final season premieres Sunday, April 14 on HBO. The series' eighth season is among many awaiting viewers in the midseason.
