Big Brother Spoilers: Who Won HOH, Who's Nominated?

Big Brother 21 Jack dressed as Little Bo Peep CBS

SPOILERS ahead from the 2019 Big Brother 21 live feeds.

Guys, it's time to at least temporarily take back any complaints about Jessica Milagros just floating through Big Brother 21. The Thursday, August 1, 2019 episode ended with the Head of Household competition starting. CBS didn't show it on the live feeds, but after a couple of hours it was revealed that Jess won Week 6 HoH. There were groans and the automatic assumption that she'd just do whatever The Six Shooters (or what's left of them) wanted because she thinks she's with them.

Not anymore.

Jess has woken up to most of what's happening, and in a post-HoH comp talk with her fellow outsiders, she seemed to find her target:

Can it be true? Will Jack Matthews finally be targeted and evicted? We've hoped for this before when Cliff Hogg III was HoH. Don't forget that Christie Murphy still has her power to use this week.

The Nomination Ceremony was later on Friday afternoon, and we'll see it in Sunday's episode. Jess nominated Jack and Jackson for eviction. Just like Cliff did, so ... I have to keep that in mind. Otherwise, I'd be thrilled. The Power of Veto competition was held Saturday afternoon/evening and it'll air on TV on Wednesday before the live eviction episode on Thursday, August 8.

UPDATE: The POV results are in!

Based on the late Thursday/early Friday morning conversations, Jess seems to want to put up Jackson Michie as a pawn and Jack as the target next to him. There was some discussion at one point of putting Analyse Talavera on the block next to Jack, but it sounds like Jess was leaning toward Jack/Jackson, keeping Sis and Tommy Bracco as replacement nominee options. They (finally) recognize that Tommy is playing pretty hard, too. Cliff warned Jess not to say anything to Christie, because Christie might say she'd use her power to protect Tommy.

I'm excited for what can happen, but also not getting too excited again. Cliff put Jack/Jackson on the block and after Christie got in Cliff's ear, Bella Wang went home.

That said, Christie's game just got massively blown up. The Six Shooters are turning on each other, and Christie might actually be someone the outsiders can use now.

Here's hoping Jack really does become the first jury member. Any of the Six leaving is fine by me.

5 Ways CBS Can Fix Big Brother After 2019 Mess

Don't forget we have the whole America's Field Trip vote thing, too, although that vote goes until August 9, so it does not affect this week at all. It's not quite as good as I'd hoped, since it could potentially punish someone we like and reward someone we don't like.

Big Brother Twitter was discussing who to vote for, seeming to veer toward Six Shooters -- like Jack, Jackson, and Tommy or Jack, Jackson, and Christie. But casual viewers who don't watch live feeds and don't tweet are the ones who'll probably dictate the vote, and they may just vote for their favorites as a reward. I'm worried that could lead to someone like Nicole Anthony being screwed over if she has to compete against stronger players and ends up the third player on the block. But that's a concern for this time next week.

Big Brother airs at 8 p.m. Sundays, but with Love Island now playing during the week, Big Brother airs at 9 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday on CBS. Watch the live feeds yourself at CBS.
