The Internet Is Already Pushing For Jay Cutler As The Next Bachelor Hours After Divorce Reports
After years of marriage and three seasons of reality television, Very Cavallari stars Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari are getting a divorce. Reactions were all over the place following the news, though there a surprising number of people jumped on the idea that a single Cutler meant he could and should star on ABC's The Bachelor.
Mere hours after both Cutler and Cavallari announced their split on social media, and before the details could even come out, plights for the former NFL quarterback to appear on The Bachelor began to surface and spread like wildfire. Apparently, this is something a lot of people would like to see.
That tweet got a lot of traction, and not because people were interested in not being his friend. Smilar tweets of that nature essentially stated the same thing. Now that Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are done, there seems to be a solid number of people who want to see the former NFL quarterback try for love on the ABC reality series.
As far as why they want that, it's a question I'm still trying to figure out. Though reasoning is all over the place, it seems a lot of people are pointing to how entertaining Jay Cutler was on Very Cavallari, and how the show really won't be the same without him going forward.
To those who haven't been following Very Cavallari for its past 3 seasons, Jay Cutler has been a high point of the show for many thanks to his sarcastic attitude and playful jabs at soon to be ex-wife Kristin Cavallari. Cutler's general demeanor seemed to indicate he didn't care that the cameras were rolling before he spoke his mind, which made for some entertaining moments.
These kinds of off-the-cuff moments would obviously liven up a season of The Bachelor, and perhaps mellow out some of the drama in other cases. Some are already fantasizing about what a season of the ABC series would be like with Jay Cutler on board, and honestly, it sounds promising.
The mere idea has already spurred commitments from men across Twitter who vow to watch The Bachelor every week if Jay Cutler was it. (Some of which may have been watching already.) Of course, there’s also a good deal of people hailing from the Chicago area that are on board with the idea, likely because of the years Cutler spent as the quarterback for the Chicago Bears.

What’s especially interesting about this phenomenon is that Jay Cutler is the less experienced reality television star of the former couple. Despite that, one won’t find many (if any) tweets requesting that Kristin Cavallari join The Bachelorette. The people have spoken: they want Cutler, and all the buckwild bare-bottomed action that could come along with it.
Fans may want Jay Cutler on The Bachelor, but is this something the former pro athlete would actually consider? Obviously, I don’t have a crystal ball that reveals such things, but I can say that this divorce will still be too fresh in Cutler's mind for him to jump back on the hunt for love. Plus, it’s honestly hard to tell whether or not Jay Cutler even enjoyed being on Very Cavallari, and whether he'd subject himself to living life in front of cameras yet again.
