If you’ve been looking forward to the Burn Notice prequel movie, Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe, you’ll be happy to know that USA has set a premiere date.
The Fall of Sam Axe will premiere on USA on April 17th at 9/8c on USA. Written by Burn Notice creator Matt Nix and directed by series star Jeffrey Donovan, the film will follow Bruce Campbell’s character Sam Axe during his mission in Columbia in 2005, when he was sent to advise a local military platoon. According to the information USA released, “It’s there he discovers deep layers of deception and ultimately realizes he may be allied with the wrong side.”
Also set to star in the movie is RonReaco Lee (The Good Guys), Kiele Sanchez (Lost, The Glades), John Diehl (Miami Vice, Stargate) and Chandra West (John from Cincinnati, The Gates).
From the sounds of it, this film is not to be missed by fans of the action/spy series Burn Notice and especially by those who think Bruce Campbell (and his character Sam Axe) is awesome, which I suspect is a lot of people.
