Former Deadwood Star Joining Lost

Anyone who was a fan of HBO’s Deadwood and is also looking forward to the final season of Lost will be happy to know that former Deadwood castmember John Hawkes will be joining Lost as a recurring character as the series wraps up.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hawkes will play Lennon, “the scruffy, edgy and charismatic spokesperson and translator for the president of a foreign corporation who is far more powerful than it seems from his position.”

Hawkes, whose film credits include American Gangster and The Perfect Storm, has a number of small-screen credits to his name as well. In addition to playing Sol Star in Deadwood, he’s also appeared in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Taken, CSI and Without a Trace.
