Subscribe To Fox Announces Season 22 Simpsons Guest Stars Updates
The Simpsons is about to embark on its twenty-second season and today, Fox announced the lengthy list of celebrities on board to lend their voices to the series at some point during the 2010-2011 season.

Among the guest “appearances” for Season 22 of The Simpsons are Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Hugh Laurie, Halle Berry, Ricky Gervais, Daniel Radcliffe, Jemaine Clement, Bret McKenzie, Mark Zuckerberg, Mike Scioscia, Martha Stewart, Paul Rudd, Rachel Weisz, Cheech & Chong, Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, Alyson Hannigan, Danica Patrick, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Joe Mantegna.

According to Fox’s announcement, the season premiere episode is set to air on Sunday, Sept. 26 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT). It’s titled “Elementary School Musical” and features five of the above mentioned guest voices. If you were wondering if the Glee stars were among them, they certainly are. In the episode, Glee’s Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Amber Riley play fellow campers at the performing arts camp where Lisa goes. They “inspire her to embrace her creative side,” which I’m guessing includes a bit of singing. Also set to guest-voice in the episode are Flight of the Conchords stars Jermaine Clement and Bret McKenzie, who play “artsy counselors.”

House’s Hugh Laurie is on board to guest voice the 21st annual Treehouse of Horror XXI special, along with Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe. Mad Men’s Jon Hamm is set to “appear” on the show later on in the season, playing an FBI supervisor in the episode titled “Donnie Fatso.”
