Get An Early Look At The CW's The Secret Circle

It seems like The CW is taking a few lessons from the Fox playbook. Last week, Fox made the pilot episode for their new sitcom New Girl available on iTunes a full two weeks before the scheduled air date and if that screams anything, it's confidence in their new series. Hopefully, that's also that's also the motivation for The CW making the pilot episode of The Secret Circle available 3 days before the premiere.

Fans of everything CW, namely very good-looking people who are either a) supernatural, b) socialites or c) some combination of the two, you are in for a treat. The Secret Circle follows pretty closely in the footsteps of one of the other CW smash-hits, The Vampire Diaries, but instead of hot vamps, we've got hot witches (actually, I think there are witches on VD as well... ick, that's acronym for Vampire Diaries? Seems fitting, I guess).

To be fair, the show is actually about a new girl (Britt Robertson) moving to the mysterious town of Chance Harbor, where everyone seems to know more about her life and her past than she does. A life and past that includes witchcraft. So, if any of that sounds up your alley, you may want to catch The Secret Circle Pilot on iTunes in its entirety before the proper premiere date three days hence (I used hence!). You can also read Kelly's recap of the The Secret Circle from Comic-Con's Preview Night here.

The series, based upon a the best selling tween book series by L.J. Smith, stars Robertson, Thomas Dekker, Gale Harold, Phoebe Tonkin, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Shelly Hennig, Louis Hunter, Ashley Crow and Natasha Henstridge. A veritable group of young and gorgeous unknown who are sure to make the target demographic swoon. If catching the pilot early on your computer is of little interest, be sure to tune into the series premiere of The Secret Circle on The CW, September 15th at 9:00 p.m.
