Come on Jessica, come on Tori! Let's go to the mall, you won't be sore-y! You also won't be sorry to tune into How I Met Your Mother next month, as Robin Sparkles is returning for an upcoming episode, and based on the teaser CBS released, she's bringing a host of Canadian celebrities with her.
What's more Canadian than hockey players and Barenaked Ladies? Robin Sparkles, that's what! But how about a bit of all of the above? CBS shared this video, which doesn't actually include any footage from the episode, which airs in early February, but it does amp up the Canadian spirit with a bit of instrumental "O Canada" and a list of celebrities set to appear in the episode, which marks the return of Robin's Canadian pop-star alter-ego Robin Sparkles, who was totally 80s (in the 90s).
Alan Thicke - Dad Seaver in Growing Pains.
James Van Der Beek - Dawson's Creek (and more currently, Don't Trust the B in Apt 23).
Paul Shaffer - Musician and sidekick to David Letterman on Late Show
Jason Priestly - Brandon Walsh of Beverly Hills, 90210.
Alex Trebek - host of Jeopardy.
K.D. Lang - Canadian pop and country singer/song-writer.
Steven Page - lead singer and songwriter for Barenaked Ladies.
Geddy Lee - lead singer (and bassist and keyboardist) for Rush.
Luc Robitaille - retired pro-hockey player.
Robin Sparkles… of course.
Needless to say, the episode, which airs February 4, will have more Canadians than you can shake a hockey stick at.
