NBC Decks The Halls With Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting, It's A Wonderful Life And Michael Buble Special

Those lining up their holiday-themed TV programming will want to make room on their calendars for the annual airing of It's A Wonderful Life, which NBC has scheduled for early next month and again for Christmas Eve. Also set to air this Christmas season is Michael Buble: Home for the Holidays, which will have the singer joined by a number of other performers, some of whom can be seen in the new teaser for the special.

For those who can't celebrate the holiday season without at least one viewing of It's a Wonderful Life, the Frank Capra classic film is on the schedule for Sunday, December 1. That's this Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. Sunday's are pretty packed for television, so some may choose to hold off and watch it on Monday, December 24 when it airs at 8:00 p.m.

Moving on, Michael Buble returns for another holiday Christmas special at NBC. Home for the Holidays will have Buble performing with Rod Stewart, Blake Shelton, Carly Rae Jepsen and Elmo. And thanks to the marvels of modern technology, he'll also be performing a duet with the late Bing Crosby. Here's the teaser NBC released in anticipation of the special.

Fans of Christmas and Michael Buble (or his guests) will find the Home For The Holidays special airing Monday, December 10 at 10:00 p.m. ET. NBC has it set to encore Friday, December 21 at 8:00 p.m.

And since we're on the subject, if you're wondering when Christmas in Rockefeller Center is going to air, that's this Wednesday night. NBC will broadcast the annual tree-lighting ceremony on Wednesday, November 28 at 8:00 p.m. (Encore airing November 30). Among the performers are Trace Adkins, Tony Bennett, Mariah Carey, CeeLo Green (NBC’s “The Voice”), Victoria Justice, Chris Mann, Scotty McCreery, Rod Stewart and Il Volo.
