Wednesday nights is proving to be a great night for TV, thanks in large part to ABC’s excellent comedy block, which is capped off by a healthy dose of soapy drama from the network’s new series Revenge. While things were more or less standard for ABC’s Wednesday night ratings, Revenge and Happy Endings both dipped down a bit from last week. If you missed either of them, you can get caught up here!

According to Deadline, Happy Endings and Revenge, both of which saw ratings increases last week, dropped back down this week, earning 3.0/7 (6.9 million) and 2.5/7 (7.9 million) respectively. The decrease from last week for both shows was less than 10%, but it's still disappointing news, especially considering how great both of the episodes were. Happy Endings had Penny creating a vision board, and Revenge’s episode may have been one of, if not the most well put together episode since the pilot.

The Middle earned 9 million viewers, Suburgatory’s ratings were up at 3.1/8, and Modern Family did the best for ABC with 12.9 million viewers (5.6/14). Meanwhile, CBS did well with CSI beating out Revenge at 10 p.m., earning 10.6 million viewers. And Survivor: South Pacific took in 11.1 million, which was up a tenth from last week.

Since Happy Endings and Revenge were two of my favorite things about TV last night, I've posted them below for those of you who missed them. Enjoy!
