Revenge, Once Upon A Time, Suburgatory And Others Renewed By ABC

While word of NBC's current series renewals came in in spurts today, with good news for Community, 30 Rock and Parenthood, we're getting a bunch of good news all at once for a number of ABC series, including freshman dramas Once Upon a Time and Revenge.

Deadline posted the news today, stating that ABC's "no-brainer" renewals have been made. Among the shows that made the cut and will be back next season storybook-themed drama series Once Upon a Time, the excellently soapy vengeance-filled drama Revenge, and the freshman Wednesday night comedy series Suburgatory. ABC has also reportedly renewed Grey's Anatomy and Castle for new seasons, along with The Middle and Modern Family

All of the above is great news, especially Revenge, as I expect the show will leave us hanging with its season finale. (Check out the preview for next week's episode here.)

While there's no official confirmation for comedy series Last Man Standing and Don't Trust the B--- in Apartment 23, Deadline reports that both are expected to return, and that things are looking good for Shonda Rhimes' Scandal. Looking less positive (but still in the running for renewals) are GCB and Body of Proof. Talks are also apparently happening for Private Practice. Absent from mention is Happy Endings, which will hopefully find a place on next season's line-up. We'll have to wait and see if those make the line-up when ABC's upfront presentation takes place next week.
