New Japanese Game Show Lets Bears Attack People Inside A Box

The latest video from one of these shows to hit the internet features a woman video taping while inside a glass box. Normally that would be odd but not concerning; however, the terrified woman is also getting shoved around in the glass box by a very large grizzly bear.

Watch This Lady Completely Fail On Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

That’s the rub of being on a game show. You can win a whole lot of money in a hurry. You can impress your friends and have a cool little moment on national television. But the downside of that glorious chance is you can completely blow it… in spectacular fashion… on national television.

Watch And Cringe At This Family Feud Epic Fail

Making the rounds today is a cringe-worthy Family Feud fail. It's not the first game show video to circulate, showing off some epic fumble when it's all at stake, but this one certainly is a doozy. Those who are familiar with how the final round of Family Feud works know that two players from the winning family are chosen to answer a series of questions. The answers are based on a survey done prior to the game.

The Million Second Quiz Game Show To Air On NBC This Fall

NBC seems to be majorly hit or miss with their unscripted series. On one hand, singing competition The Voice is doing better than ever. But on the other hand, Ready for Love was cancelled after just a couple of episodes. How will The Million Second Quiz do? The competition series is poised to air this fall and is described as a "genre-redefining spectacle" and a social experiment, game and live interactive event all in one.

ABC Gives People What They Deserve In New Game Show You Deserve It

From the sound of the new game show they have on deck to air later this month, ABC is intent on making their viewers cry this holiday season. Well, viewers like me who have a tendency to get choked up when happy things happen to good people, anyway.

NBC Sets Premiere Date For New Game Show It's Worth What?

When I first heard of NBC’s new game show It’s Worth What?, I thought it was a Price is Right clone, (“remake”), however as it turns out, this new series focuses more on the worth of things as opposed to the retail value. That’s certainly a notable difference, and while I don’t think that’ll make this game-show any easier for me to play along from my living room than The Price is Right was, it does sound intriguing.

Minute To Win It Preview: Jackass Guest Contestants

Minute to Win It, NBC's breakout game show of last season, is readying itself for round two with bigger challenges and even a few special guests. The summer schedule will feature a mix of all-new eps and re-runs to accommodate those who are already fans as well as trying and covert some newbies. Oh, and those special guests I mentioned, well, two of them will be on the premiere episode this week.

ABC Gives Man Behind Wipeout A New, Horrible Sounding Game Show

Well, this sounds absolutely, positively horrible. ABC has given the go ahead for another game show from Matt Kunitz, the guy that brought us all Wipeout, and somehow, by some divine miracle, this one is actually shaping up to be worse.

television
NBC Orders New Trivia Game Show

I’ve never seen the original, but based on the plot description, it sounds like a scaled back version of 1 vs 100. No word if Bob Saget will be involved, but I’ll go ahead and cross my fingers

Pyramid Returning To Daytime CBS

The last time I saw Pyramid, Joey Tribbiani had the category “Things that are found in the fridge.” When the clue “It’s white” was given, he screamed out, “Snow, paper, a ghost!” Joey might never be asked back on the show

Video Teaser For Sci Fi's Cha$e

This November, Sci Fi will premiere a new game show, or as they refer to it, “the world’s first live-action video game,” Cha$e. We’ve got a new teaser for the series, which should give you a pretty good idea of just out intense the game really is. Based on the footage, I’m thinking this could be a really fun show to watch.

2008 Summer TV Preview: Wanna Bet?

Though I have to say, based on the promo (below), I am a bit intrigued. I want to see if that marching band really can squeeze into the back of a van and play “When The Saints Go Marching In.” I’m also curious as to why and how this band ended up trying to do this to begin with. I have a feeling a lot of these talents are going to have us all asking that question.

television
2008 Summer TV Preview: Hurl!

This show sounds totally disgusting. It’s as though they took one of those food-eating competitions then said, “Hey! How can we make this even more disgusting?” That said, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t intrigued. It’s the same as those eating competitions. I say they’re totally gross but then I stumble across one on TV and sure enough, I can’t look away.
