It all seemed a little too perfect. Bethesda had planned to release three downloadable content episodes for Fallout 3 in January, February, and March. Now, they've revealed that the second and third episodes have been delayed.

Bethesda marketing VP Pete Hines confirmed the delay to Gamestop on Friday. The Pitt is now set for a March release and Broken Steel will arrive in April. The Pitt sends players on a journey to the ruins of Pittsburgh while Broken Steel is a continuation of the game's main storyline. All of the downloadable content is exclusive to the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the post-apocalyptic RPG.

Operation Anchorage, the first episode which took players through a simulated attack on Anchorage, fortunately made its January release. It's currently available for $10 (800 Microsoft Points).
