A trio of PlayStation 3 digital titles and a pair of PlayStation 2 classics headline this week's PlayStation Network store update scheduled for Tuesday. Leading the charge will be the week's big release of Borderlands 2 which is hitting the digital scene the very same day as its physical counterpart.
The first-person shooter gun-a-palooza known as Borderlands 2 officially kicks off the packed fall calendar of releases, marking the start of the annual season when many of the biggest titles of the year are released in rapid fire through the remainder of the year. For those who have plenty of space on the ole' hard drive, a day one digital release of the title will provide the opportunity to pump bullets into countless Pandora marauders without ever having to leave your home.
Borderlands 2 will also be joined on the PS3 digital release front by this year's surprise snowboarding hit, SSX, as well as the day one virtual release of F1 2012, perfect for all you gearheads looking to start setting some new lap records.
If you don't have PlayStation Plus, then you'll be happy to know the regular release of Jet Set Radio is also headed to the PlayStation Store tomorrow, finally giving everyone the opportunity to skate and tag their way through this Dreamcast classic. Jet Set Radio is joined by Zuma's Revenge in the PSN release department, offering another 60 levels of multi-colored ball breaking action.
Finally, a pair of Natsume games make their way to PSN as PlayStation 2 Classics, including the farm simulator, Harvest Moon: It's a Wonderful Life: Special Edition, and the fishing RPG River King: A Wonderful Journey.
More information on each of this week's PSN releases can be found on the PlayStation Blog. You can add these titles to your digital library once the store update goes live on Tuesday afternoon.
