UTV Ignition Games announced today the official release date for the upcoming, metaphysical platforming game, El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. The official E3 2011 trailer is also available for viewing.

The game follows Enoch as he’s directly appointed by God to retrieve seven souls from the fallen angels who were once entrusted with overseeing and protecting the Earth. Players will venture through captivating and truly awe-inspiring environments, battling epic foes as described in the Bible.
