An entire mission is showcased in a new trailer from Microsoft's E3 2012 press conference. The trailer starts with an elite group trying to escort the POTUS to safety when a vicious attack is launched and lead character, Mason, leads a group to protect the POTUS during a large scale battle in downtown Los Angeles.

Mystery terrorist Menendez launches a massive assault using attack drones, and players are put in the middle of the fray having to fight through Hollywood-sized big-budget blockbuster scripted events, one after another until it culminates in one huge scripted explosion.

This has sort of become a staple for Microsoft each year at E3...offering up an exclusive level from Call of Duty games to get gamers pumped, and there's the standard exclusive DLC announcements that follow suit, as described here in this article right here.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is set for release in mid-November for home consoles and PC. The shooter game sees players getting involved in an international incident that spans the globe. You can also bet your bottom dollar that it's going to make Activision a breezy billion dollars.

You can learn more about the game by paying a visit to the Official Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Website.
