LittleBigPlanet Karting Rolls Out Tokyo Game Show Trailer
Every racing game needs a few things to insure its quality: Sweet rides, world-class tracks...and Sackboys. LittleBigPlanet Karting is approaching the development finish line and, with a little over a month until its Nov. 6 release date for the PlayStation 3, the folks at Sony and United Front Games decided to show off a brand new trailer during this weekend's Tokyo Game Show to keep the hype rolling.
LittleBigPlanet Karting takes the beloved play, create, share motto of the LBP franchise and plugs it into a fast-paced, adorable racing experience. United Front are the folks responsible for the ModNation Racers franchise, so anyone who has played that similar title will know that these guys basically have the formula nailed down. If you need further proof, then take a gander at this latest trailer hot off the floor from Tokyo Game Show.
As you can see, LittleBigPlanet Karting is going to be in Japanese, so you might want to start boning up on your foreign language skills. Just in case the tone isn't bleeding through, I'm just joshing ya. But while we might not be able to make out all of that hiragana and katakana, what we can see is that LBPK is offering much more than the average karting experience. There's a robust track, kart and Sackboy creation tool, minigames, online and offline racing, battle modes, and even boss fights.
Look for LittleBigPlanet Karting to race into retail on Nov. 6.
