March PS Plus Update Brings Spec Ops: The Line, The Cave And More
March's PlayStation Plus update is a big one, offering subscribers a collection of five new games to add to their Instant Game Collection. This month's PS3 title is the third-person shooter Spec Ops: The Line, with PSN games Joe Danger 2: The Movie and The Cave, as well as Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention and Tekken 6 for the Vita making the cut.
In case that sounds like an awful lot of games to be announcing at once, it's because the folks at the U.S. PlayStation Blog are falling in line with what's been going on over at the European blog, announcing the main Plus attractions in a single post each month and then providing a weekly update to let everyone know what other extra goodies are being added. Consider it a way to help guide your purchasing decisions for the next four weeks. Nothing worse than buying a new game only to have it offered free of charge on Plus the following week.
So, now that you know the main attractions for the month, now it's time to break down what, exactly, you'll be getting through PlayStation Plus this week alone. Along with Spec Ops: The Line, this week's update will also feature a 20 percent discount on Runner2 ($14.99 down to $11.99). Finally, you'll also be able to enjoy a number list of discounts as part of the PS Vita Anniversary Sale: Week 2. Everything from Army Corps of Hell to Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is being discounted, with additional discounts being made available for Plus Subscribers. Visit the above link for a full list of titles and sale prices.
Look for this week's Plus offerings to be available once the weekly PSN update goes live tomorrow afternoon.
