Earlier this week, Ubisoft announced Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for "consoles and handhelds." They neglected to mention that the game will be released for the PC as well.

"We can confirm that there will be a PC version," German Ubisoft PR lead Niels Bogdan told GamersGlobal (via Google Translate).

Forgotten Sands marks a return to the Sands of Time trilogy's storyline. It will arrive in May 2010, around the same time as the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time film.
