Ubisoft has just gotten slightly huger. Today they announced that they've acquired the Vancouver studio Action Pants Inc.
"Action Pants and Ubisoft share very similar values and we are confident that this synergy will provide all of our staff with new and exciting opportunities, as well as resources that will benefit all of our future products," said Simon Andrews, co-founder and executive partner of Action Pants.
Action Pants was first formed in 2006. The studio's first title, already under development, is expected in 2009. It's said to be a sports title for the Wii. However, no specifics were offered beyond that.
