Critics may have hated it, but Hugh Jackman’s latest stint as Wolverine is a massive box office smash. That probably means sequel talk will surface somewhere, but in the meantime Hugh has already lined up his next project. THR says he’s doing another comic book adaptation, only this time he’s trading superheroes for ghosts.
The comic is an as of yet unpublished graphic novel called Ghostopolis, about a man who works for the government’s Supernatural Immigration Task Force. His job is to deport ghosts who sneak into our world, back to their world in Ghostopolis. I wonder what an illegal supernatural immigrant charges to mow your lawn? In the comic, a live boy is accidentally sent to Ghostopolis and so Hugh Jackman teams up with a female ghost go bring him back.
No director yet, but it’s a Disney movie which means you probably shouldn’t expect Eli Roth.
