Release Dates Planned For Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage![]()
One just a handful of films that went into this year's Tribeca Film Festival with practically a guarantee of a theatrical release was Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage, a loving and hugely enjoyable documentary about the long-running cult band. The legions of Rush fans around the world, not to mention the great response the film has gotten at the festival, made it an obvious choice for theaters nationwide, and now what everyone has predicted has come true.
Zoe Vision and Banger Films have announced that Beyond the Lighted Stage will hit theaters in June, with exact cities and dates to be announced later. The band will also be kicking off a 40-city tour at the end of that month, so you can count a little cross-promotion there. To make things even better, the producers have released a new trailer to pump the fans; Trailer Addict snagged it, and you can watch it embedded below. For even more information on the film, and proof that the members of Rush have more fun being rock stars than anyone else in history, you can read my review here. |
