We told you back in March that it was happening, and now Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day has become a reality. The sequel officially started filming in Toronto this week, with a cast composed of both returning actors like Sean Patrick Flannery and Billy Connelly, as well newcomers like Clifton Collins Jr.
The original film is the story of two Irish brothers who set about knocking off mafia gang members in Boston, while Willem Dafoe starred as a detective hot on their trail. No Willem for this one, and it’s hard to say if it’ll even get a theatrical release, but one way or another the movie is filming.
During production, the film’s cast and crew are chronicling their experience via a regular series of daily production on videos. They have an entire YouTube channel dedicated to it, which you can visit right here. I’ve embedded the two most recent videos below:
