New Dark Knight Rises TV Spot Arrives To Tell You To Buy Your Tickets Now

Earlier today Batman fans were delivered a treat. Though The Dark Knight Rises won’t be hitting theaters until the end of next month, tickets have already gone on sale for midnight screenings. Obviously tickets are going to be going quick – we have to remember that The Dark Knight is still ranked the fourth highest grossing movie of all time – but still Warner Bros. wants to get the word out there that tickets are available and have done so by launching a brand new TV spot specifically about the event.

The new TV spot actually comes from the UK market, and does a pretty good job mixing in the new with the old considering it’s only 40 seconds long. The only line that feels clunky is when Christian Bale says, “This city needs me,” (very much a cliché at this point), but perhaps it won’t land as strangely when heard in context. The Dark Knight Rises is the finale of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy and stars Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Matthew Modine.
