Fox has confirmed the story we brought you last week, which had the first trailer for Fantastic Four rumored to be attached to Elektra this weekend. They have just "officially" announced exactly that in a delightfully long press release locking in a debut in front of Jennifer Garner's lesbian kissing movie. Mediocre hero franchise used to advertise another mediocre hero franchise… it’s perfect synergy.

Finally we’re going to see some “official” Fantastic Four footage. Well maybe. Of course it is only a teaser, which could mean all you’ll be getting is some music and a dripppy logo, a la Terminator 3. Nothing more frustrating than that. But whatever it is, according to Fox the only place you’ll be able to see it is in a theater, paying to see Elektra. So if you’re seeing it anyway, prepare for, well, something. Flame on!
