Hugh Jackman Goes Nowhere

By Josh Tyler: 2008-03-25 01:51:32
Hugh Jackman Goes Nowhere It’s finally happened. Hollywood has run out of comic books to adapt into movies. Don’t worry, Hugh Jackman has a solution. He’s developing his own, new comic to turn into a movie. Genius. A lesser man would have just skipped the middle step and made the movie right off the bat, thus missing out on all those multi-media moneymaking opportunities.

The project is something called Nowhere Man, which Variety says Hugh is developing with one of the co-creators of the television show Eli Stone, thus further solidifying Hugh Jackman’s place of honor in gay culture. Oh come on, straight guys do not watch Eli Stone. Not that there's anything wrong with that... er... not watching.

Details on the story involved are sparse, but apparently it’s some sort of I Am Legend knockoff. They say their lead character bears some resemblance to the one Smith played in the film. It takes place in a futuristic world where man has traded privacy for safety. So I guess by futuristic they mean next week.
